Half of the 600 display cases in the city showing the picture of the scantily clad model have been broken into, according to Deutsche Stedte-Medien, the agency that posted the advertisements. The posters are part of a lingerie advertising campaign by Swedish retailer Hennes & Mauritz. To discourage people from stealing the ads, H&M gives them away at the end of each campaign. Accordingly, this morning, a line formed outside the firm''s Frankfurt office, Reuters reports. The agency said it had posted roughly 6,100 Schiffer ads in display cases across Germany.
