Our very own morning show host at 92.3 NOW, Ty Bentli, will emcee Muscular Dystrophy Association‘s 13th Annual Wings Over Wall Street benefit on September 26th at the Broad Street Ballroom. Proceeds raised for the MDA will fund research for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Ty Bentli has been involved with MDA since he was four years old; his mother allowed him to donate through the annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethons.
“I was offered the chance to be involved as a presenter and host for the annual telethon several years ago and that led to building friendships with the kids that MDA supports through their struggles with muscular dystrophy and other similar battles,” says Bentli. “These kids and young adults are smart, hilarious, sweet and invited me into their lives. I’ve visited the MDA Summer Camp and been involved in some fun and important fundraisers.”
The organization has introduced new moments, perspectives and people into Bentli’s life, including his wife, Corri.
Muscular Dystrophy Association’s 13th Annual Wings Over Wall Street benefit will be held on Thursday, September 26th from 5:30pm to 9:30pm at Broad Street Ballroom on 41 Broad Street, between Beaver Street and Exchange Place.

Another member of the Ty <3′s NY morning show team will be helping MDA’s cause as well. Phone Screener Bryan will be running in the ING New York City Marathon on November 3rd. Bryan will be accepting donations for MDA through the New York Road Runners, the nation’s leading community running organization. A donation page will be up and running shortly.
