During his stay in NYC last week, Sean Kingston stopped by the 92.3 NOW studios to take over Toro’s Top 7 Countdown a chat about his new record. Part of 92.3 NOW’s extended family; Sean Kingston has been through the station so many times he probably has his own ID card! Sean filled us in on what he’s been up to while in the Big Apple, who he’s been collaborating with in the studio and gave us the lowdown on those pesky Rihanna “lap dance” rumors that have been making the rounds.

Last week, while Sean was hopping clubs and visiting friends in NYC, he found himself at the upscale club Pink Elephant. Rihanna and her gal pals were also at the club and were spotted “seductively dancing” along to Sean’s new single “Beat It” near his table. The media, always looking for a juicy story (we LOVE juicy stories, don’t you?), suggested that there was something going on between the two, but Sean says they were just having a little fun.

“It wasn’t really a ‘lap dance’ man. That’s just a great friend of mine… you know how the media is,” says Sean. “She was at a table right next to me when she started dancing…. you know, she likes the record!”

Speaking of Sean’s new single “Beat It,” which had already hit 2.7 million views in two days, Sean says it was organically put together by he and his friends Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa during their downtime.

“The story is crazy,” says Sean. “I invited Chris over to do a painting, a mural inside my house. He came over, and was painting when he heard the song… and he said ‘I want to be on it!’ He was a man of his word, he came to the studio later that night… And then I played it for Wiz and he jumped on!”
