Justin Bieber may be a global heartthrob, but he doesn’t shy away from his faith. A Christian, the Biebs is currently endorsing his pastor’s new book Jesus Is___: Find a New Way to Be Human.

His pastor Judah Smith chatted with Fox and Friends and revealed that he first came in contact with the singer when Bieber’s mom reached out to him three years ago.

“I do my best to encourage him,” Smith said. “He’s a spectacular young man.”
