On Mariah Carey’s latest single, the singer pays tribute to Dorothy Gale.
Her newest song, “Almost Home,” featured on the soundtrack for Oz The Great And Powerful, takes Dorothy’s classic sentiment and sets it to an upbeat mix of synths and an electronic marching drumbeat.
On the track, Mariah sings the message: “When you’re almost there/ Almost home/ Know you’re not alone/ You’re almost home.”
The new Disney film, in theaters March 8, is a re-imagining of the 1939 classic, The Wizard of Oz and stars Mila Kunis, James Franco and Michelle Williams as Glinda the Good Witch.
Fans can expect a brightly colored video, directed by David LaChapelle, the same day the movie comes out.
