Another day, another pile of celebrity dirt! It’s time to catch you up on all the celebrity gossip first thing in the AM so you can be in the know before all of your friends!

Today we’ve got the latest dirt on everything from last night’s GRAMMYs, Chris Brown crashes his Porsche, and Pope Benedict XVI officially resigning!? Say what?!

Pope Benedict XVI Resigning, First Time Since 1415

Earlier this morning during a meeting of the Vatican cardinals Pope Benedict XVI, 85, announced that he will be stepping down on Feb. 28th. The last time an event like this has occurred was 600 years ago, back in 1415.

“After having repeatedly examined my conscience before God, I have come to the certainty that my strengths due to an advanced age are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry,” Pope Benedict XVI said.

The Pope was just elected on April 19,2005. What could be the reasoning behind his resignation just after almost 7 years and right before lent? Could it be health reasons or is there a major scandal behind this? Something sounds a bit fishy to us!

Chris Brown Crashes Porsche, Blames Paps

Another day another problem, or more like just another day in Breezy’s Life. On Friday morning (February 8th) Chris Brown crashed his Porsche into a wall and claims it’s the paparazzi’s fault! Breezy was driving solo while on his way to do a good deed for his Symphonic Love Foundation event at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.

As reported by Brown’s reps, “The occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle. In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley at which point his was cut off by two additional vehicles. Chris‘ vehicle was totaled due to this aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi. He is okay.”

Well on the bright side Chris is fine and was still able to attend his event. But before he went he had to make a quick stop at RocNation’s Pre-Grammy brunch. Where of course he met up with Rihanna to get some love and affection. Once again showing Breezy her support.

GRAMMY Recap! Winners, Performances & Fashion!

Congratulations to all the Winners last night at the GRAMMY Awards! Gotye scored big taking home Record of the Year for, “Somebody That I Used To Know”. Frank Ocean took his first GRAMMY for Best Urban Contemporary Album. And many more winners like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Kelly Clarkson.

For the most part everyone seemed to follow the dress-code while still looking fierce and sharp on the Red Carpet. J-Lo gave us the Jolie leg pose in high split black Anthony Vaccarello dress looking fabulous.
Lady in red, Rihanna, looked beautiful in her Azzedine Alaia gown. Chris Brown stepped onto the red carpet with an all-white suit looking like he might be trying to reclaim his innocence.

Taylor Swift opened the GRAMMY’s with her Circus act performance singing “We Are Never Getting Back Together”. Justin Timberlake marked his major comeback during his performance last night. Doing an amazing job giving everyone what they’ve been waiting for! While Frank Ocean ran during his performance singing “Forrest Gump”, Run Forrest Run! Bruno Mars, Sting, Rihanna, Damien and Ziggy Marley did a great performance tribute to honor the great Bob Marley.
