Now that Harry and Taylor have broken up, does Olly want a shot with the singer?
“No, she’s not my cup of tea,” he admitted. “She’s a nice girl and seems really lovely.”
During a recent visit to B96/Chicago we had to ask Olly how he felt about breaking the news of Haylor to the world.
“I don’t think I broke it. I just was asked in an interview who I would snog, marry and avoid. They gave me three people of the GRAMMYs and Taylor Swift was in it, there was P!nk and there was someone else. I said I would have to avoid Taylor Swift,” he explained.
As for confirming Taylor and Harry’s relationship to the world, Olly denies his role.
“C’mon, they were seen walking holding hands! So, I just presumed,” he said. “I felt really bad about it. I was like ‘Wow, I didn’t expect this to blow up!’ In a couple places in America on Twitter they were like ‘Oh my God!’”
“I would say I would avoid Taylor Swift, because she’s dating one of my friends. She’s going out with Harry Styles. So Harry, I couldn’t obviously go near Taylor because that’s his missus,” he said.
Olly doesn’t need any help picking up the ladies these days as he was voted the ninth sexiest man in the world.
“To get any attention [from] girls it’s great. It’s crazy how quickly overnight you become a sex symbol,” he said. “I saw recently in a magazine in the UK that I was voted the ninth sexiest man in the world. I don’t know who voted. I can’t see myself being in the top ten! It was nice to be put there anyway.”
Olly’s new album, Right Place, Right Time will drop this spring, and Olly thinks everyone should pick up a copy.
“It’s a cool, happy, fun album, and it has really fantastic songs on it.”
