Ty Calls Lulu Y Lala’s Mother, Both Get The Smack Down On “The Great Gatsby”

When the parents are away, the children will play. Or in this case, when Lulu and Lala’s parents are away on vacation, the adults will procrastinate! During the holiday break when Ty Loves NY was on vacation, Lulu and Lala were both given The Great Gatsby to read as a Christmas gift from Producer Jason. They said they wanted to fill their off time up with some proactive, but instead they it’s collecting dust on a shelf!

The Great Gatsby is one of the most talked about books this year, all in thanks to Leonardo DiCaprio’s new movie based off of F Scott Fitzgerald’s literary work of the same name. However when Ty found out that the twins weren’t forced to read the book during their high school years at North Bergen, he knew he needed to change that quickly! In fact, what DID the twins read in high school? Does North Bergen even have a credible educational system now? All of these questions flooded Ty’s brain. (We love you North Bergen).

So with the break on and the twins ready to dig into their new book, what did they do? Not touch a page! (Or in Lala’s case, maybe just two sentences). Instead, Lulu and Lala took their new found freedom of not having their parents around and just hung around the house; they even built a brand new closet!

Ty wasn’t happy about that. They were on a set mission to read the entire book and report it to Ty, and they failed! So this morning on Ty Loves NY, Ty called up LuluyLala’s mom, where they got more than they bargained for.

Hey, mother’s know best right? With the twin’s mother on Ty’s side, I wonder how long it will take for them to read the entire book? Before the movie comes out? Or how about until the next apocalypse (when is that anyways?).
