Another day, another pile of celebrity dirt! It’s time to catch you up on all the celebrity gossip first thing in the AM so you can be in the know before all of your friends!
Today we’ve got the latest dirt on Adele reaching a major milestone, Bing released their “Most Searched” List for 2012, and Angus T Jones (aka “The Half” in “Two And A Half Men”) apologizes, but was it sincere?
Let’s get it started!
Adele’s 21 Hits A Milestone
Adele’s breakthrough album 21 has sold more than 10 million copies. The album reached the milestone last week, less than two years after its release.
21 is only the the 21st album to sell 10 million copies since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991. It’s the third album to reach the 10 million mark in 2012. Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory and Usher’s Confessions both crossed the 10 million mark earlier this year.
Adele was seriously on fire last year, with all of her songs blazing to the top of Billboard, and sweeping the GRAMMY’s. Now that she is a new mother, Adele can sit back and enjoy life! Congrats to my favorite artist from across the pond.
Two And A Half Men Star Apologizes For Dissing Show
Angus T. Jones released a video this week, bashing the show that made him a millionaire. “Two And A Half Men”, the show that was plagued with past issues (#WINNING and Tiger Blood, anyone?) but this one seems to all about the weird. Angus is basically biting the hand that feeds him by saying the show is nothing but “filth”.
Yesterday he released a statement apologizing.
“Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date. I thank them for the opportunity they have given and continue to give me and the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.” I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that.”
That apology doesn’t exactly seem like he is apologizing for the act. He called the show in which he makes over $300,000 an episode, “filth”. Where is the apology for that Angus!?
Bing’s “Most Searched List of 2012″ Has Been Released, Who Takes The Top?
It’s all about Kim Kardashian this year; as much as people hate on the reality star, she sure seems to have a following. Search engine Bing released their “Most Searched” list for 2012, and Kim took the number one spot.
Kardashian was champ in 2010 before losing the crown to The Biebs last year. Peyton Manning replaces Maria Sharapova as the most searched for Sports Star of the year, while Bieber was the #1 Musician, edging out Whitney Houston and Katy Perry.
Three Kardashians (Kim, Khloe and Kourtney) topped the Reality TV Stars list ahead of Honey Boo Boo (“NOOOO!”).
