Mark Wahlberg Joins Major Movie Franchise, According To Director

Michael Bay has officially confirmed that the star of Transformers 4 will be Mark Wahlberg. Last week, the director denied rumors that he was looking to have Wahlberg take over the blockbuster robot franchise from Shia Labeouf, and said he was considering him for another film — not in the Transformers franchise. Then he followed up on his website, saying … maybe that wasn’t such a bad idea after all: “Let’s say some ideas are gaining traction with me and my writer – so I’m here to say thanks internet chatter.”

Shia LeBouf, the original star of the franchise, who bagged $15 million for his last appearance in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, had apparently demanded a cool $18 mil for the new Transformers movie, but since he was denied has since backed off.

Usher Gets Special Treatment During Election Voting

Usher hit the voting booth on Election Day, and upset people while doing so! On Tuesday, Atlanta officials escorted the singer past the long lines, to the FRONT of the line and allowed him to cast his vote. Officials are defending their decision to rush Usher to the front of the line, saying they didn’t want any distractions while he waited in line with the rest of the normal Americans.

“I take the voting process very seriously, and I was just taken aback that this was allowed to happen,” said voter Alan Christian.

“At that point, he took his camera out, started taking pictures of himself in the booth, of his card and as he was voting,” said Christian.

Sounds like you aren’t making any new fans in ATL, Usher!! But it’s good he at least voted..just get in line with the rest of us!

Lindsay Lohan Drops Out Of Barbara Walters Interview

Few in Hollywood pull out of Barbara Walter’s interviews, especially when they have an upcoming project. But Lindsay Lohan’s new PR team Rogers & Cowan confirmed that the actress will not be appearing on ABC’s 20/20. Lohan was scheduled to be on the show November 16 for an interview with Walters.

The 20/20 stint was to promote Lohan’s upcoming Lifetime movie Liz & Dick in which she portrays Elizabeth Taylor.

Liz & Dick premieres November 25th. Guilty as charged!
