Ty Loves NY. And with that comes the great territory of New Jersey! The whole crew of the ‘Ty Loves NY’ morning show were invited to attend a dinner and show at Medieval Times in Lyndhurst, NJ–and quite a show it was! Between sword fights, jousting, horses and amazing food, Ty and the crew were not only knighted by the King himself, but were able to meet the Knights of the Realm backstage (and their beautiful horses)!

The night started with an introduction in the main quarters, by the Lord Chancellor, where he separated the crowd into different team colors: Yellow, Blue, Red, Green, Red & Yellow, and Black & White. Each team had a Knight in which were were assigned for the entire show. As all the groups entered the arena, we were put into our respective seats according to color, and the show began!

Before the show we had a chance to meet our knight who was the Black & White knight. He grew a certain fondness to the twins, which during the show he would not only smile, nod and wink at them but he would also give them flowers that he won from the queen during his jousting events.

Needless to say, it was the twin’s “Knight In Shining Armor” moment. Not only was he cute, but he was a really good knight! Sadly, he ended up dying by the sword of the Red & Yellow knight, but we had one amazing experience!

Have you ever been to Medieval Times? Ever wanted to go, but weren’t sure what it was all about? We have a behind the scenes experience for you!  Take a look below:

To see for yourself, head to the Medieval Times website and experience the dinner and tournament for yourself! Not only do you walk away with a stomach full of amazing food, but an experience of a lifetime.
