Latest Development On Lindsay Lohan’s Arrest

Police say Lohan clipped a pedestrian and fled. But Lohan’s spokesman said the incident has been blown out of proportion and that the actress did not commit a crime. “While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing,” Lohan’s publicist Steve Honig said. “We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks, and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue.”

L.A. prosecutors said that if she DID leave the scene of an accident, a judge could determine it was a violation of her probation terms. If that’s the case, that would mean more jail time for Lilo. That or community service. But let’s be honest: I don’t think a judge would be so forgiving this time around.

Shakira Confirms She’s Pregnant!

The newly announced coach on ‘The Voice’ made another announcement yesterday on her Facebook: she’s with child! Shakira, 35, sad that she and Spanish footballer boyfriend Gerard Pique were thrilled to be expecting a baby.

“As some of you know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days.”

Congrats to the couple! The two have been dating for two years, and as far she she’s concerned there is no wedding in the near future: ”I used to believe I had to be married to have kids. …The culture kind of gives us tunnel vision. But we function as a married couple; we don’t need papers for that.”

Jay-Z Helps Out The Prez

Hova and Beyonce threw a huge Presidential fundraiser Tuesday night at Jay’s 40/40 club in Manhattan. The 100 or so guests all paid about $40,000 a plate for dinner, which equates to about $4 million raised for Obama’s 2012 re-election.

“I think it sends an important message for Jay-Z and Beyoncé to throw this fundraiser … that it’s important for people that support the president to actually support the president,” said Adam 12, Obama’s White House DJ. “I know that Jay-Z and Beyoncé had gotten some flak recently for not supporting their community. I think this just goes to show that they do support their community.”

Hopefully, he said, the Jay and Beyoncé event will set a trend and other artists of that caliber will step up and do the same.

Is Blake Lively Pregnant!?

Rumor hit the internet just this morning that Ryan Reynold’s new wife Blake Lively is with child! Sorry ladies, Ryan is officially the market. I mean we might have been hopeful that he would break it off, but if Blake is truly pregnant, than he’s dropped about 50 ‘hot points’!

Rumors hit the internet thanks to spies on the ‘Gossip Girl’ set, saying that Blake has a “glow”, that she’s eating more than normal and “Blake is usually really careful about what she eats, but since her wedding, she seems to be eating a lot more. Everyone on set is on bump-watch.”

Britney Spears Busts Out In Song

On last night’s ‘X Factor’ millions of people tuned in and held their breath as Britney Spears busted out in song for L.A. Reid’s birthday. And when I say held our breaths, I really just mean to help Britney blow out the candles on the cake (right..)!

On last night’s show Britney pulled the surprise on Reid, and he looked just as surprised at all of us that Britney sang live for this.

It was a bit shaky – but regardless – that was Britney’s first live singing in years. Have to give her kudos. She’s gotten slack over the past few years for her tours not being live (actually she’s been ridiculed her entire career for lip synching), so it’s good to finally see Britney to shed some insecurities! Has she turned a new leaf?
