Last night was an amazing night. Not only did you hear the premiere for “Hell Yeah” by Midnight Red on 92.3 NOW… but you started a movement for all #Redheads out there.

I’m a huge fan of Midnight Red. Not only are they talented, but there is something so humble about them. For those of you that don’t know, being on the radio in NYC is NOT easy. Like them, I had to chase this dream with 150% effort. They are 5 young guys chasing and appreciating their dreams coming true.

For weeks #Redheads had been asking me to play this song. What you didn’t know is that I was in constant communication with the boys… and when the timing was right I wanted to unleash them on NYC.

They didn’t disappoint. Last night you sent two hashtags trending in NYC and the United States: #MidnightRedCallZann and #ZannPlaysMidnightRed.

During the Midnight Red UStream you kept the hashtags going. Then it happened, Midnight Red DID call during their UStream… then at 8:20, we played Midnight Red for the first time and as I expected you LOVED IT.

Way over 2,000 tweets for the song came in across the world… from the West Coast, the East Coast, Singapore, Canada… I can’t even remember all the places that went crazy for this song!

I wanted to show some love to you guys by putting up the Midnight Red call into 92.3 NOW due to all your efforts!
