Nicki Minaj refuses to be a follower in her latest video for “I Am Your Leader.” The surreal Colin Tilley-directed clip features the Young Money Queen in all her wacky, witty, sneering, and pin-up girl glory, backed by guest rappers Rick Ross and Cam’Ron.

Living up to her multiple personality-fueled caricatures, Minaj switches up from a Dr. Seuss-tinged background (pink walls, neon green windows) and a sexy sleek black outfit, to rapping in a bubble bath while wearing diamond encrusted boots and a green wig.

Not to be outdone for visuals, a shirtless Ross sits at a long, majestic dinner table amid regal gold surroundings. Women in gold body paint roll behind him on a conveyor belt. Meanwhile, Harlem rhyme vet Cam’Ron fires off his two-fisted verse for “I Am Your Leader” in an animated world of pink and green stairs.

Minaj recently became center of a story about American Idol when it was rumored that she was in talks to be the next American Idol judge. No official word has been released on her possible judgeship.
