Lady Gaga Splits From Taylor Kinney, Afraid of Love
It was all so romantic: Lady Gaga coupling up with Taylor Kinney. He haunts vampires, she looks like a vampire–it was supposed to be true love.
As it turns out, it was more of an arm candy, sugar-mama relationship. Us Weekly recently reported that Gaga pulled the plug on her 10-month relationship with the ‘Vampire Diaries’ actor, citing an “It’s not you, it’s me” variety speech. You know, something about touring and not having time for a real relationship. But according to a source, the relationship just wasn’t working.
A friend of the singer told the magazine, “Taylor was all about himself, a typical actor, and didn’t completely get Gaga.”
But don’t feel bad for Gaga just yet, she may have just been using Kinney as arm candy says the friend, “She loved that she got this guy who everyone thought was hot! But it was never going to last.”
Even though her bad romance with Taylor Kinney has ended, Gaga has expressed that when if come to marriage, divorce is not an option – good thing they were only dating otherwise they’d be stuck with each other. She believes that divorce should never be an option given the long and prosperous marriages she has witnessed in her life. Gaga tells MTV; “My grandmother… was married to my grandfather for 60 years. My parents are still together, 30 years. Divorce is not an option for me.”
“I want to eventually find a man that feels the same way – about divorce not being an option,” she said. “Working through everything together, even if it’s the hardest thing you’ve ever been through, you just stick it out.”
Not only did the Poker Face singer voice off about her opinions or marriage and divorce, she also admits that she finds love to be terrifying. For someone who seems so fearless on stage and her “I don’t care” demeanor, it’s hard to believe that anything scares Mother Monster.
“I’m still working on finding love. I know that feeling – that feeling of the impossible. But the only thing I don’t have that feeling about is my work.
Back to the wolf pack, Kinney. And Gaga, I’m sure there’s a monster just perfect for you–somewhere.
