It is evident that Mariah Carey has a love and passion for Morocco. After having dem babies with Nick Cannon, she showed her love for the culture by naming her son Moroccan. This year, Mariah will be expressing her passion for Morocco in Rabat, the nation’s capitol, for the annual Mawazine Music Festival.

The festival is an eight day affair, lasting from May 18-26, which includes both Arab and international artists. Past renowned artists include: Whitney Houston, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, and Shakira. This will be her first performance after giving birth to her twins Monroe and Moroccan.

Mariah is also expected to perform two singles which she recorded last September for her new album.
