Confused Kanye Is Confused…

What better way to start off the new year than with a [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm] twitter rant?! Last night, Yeezy took to his Twitter account to announce a new creative agency he is launching named after his late mother, Donda West.

And he wants YOU to work for him!

We all know that Kanye West loves to speak his mind! Just ask [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Taylor Swift[/lastfm].

Well, last night Kanye hit his followers with rants and stories ranging from his days interning at Fendi to his ambitions of employing scientists and doctors for what some may interpret as a new world order! According to Kanye, creativity is what drives him on so many levels as a human being. Sure he loves making music, but his real passion is fashion.

It was easy to get lost as he jumped around and spoke his mind on many touchy subjects such as education, technology, and even the GRAMMYs.

Ye tweeted, “DONDA is a design company which will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce there [sic] dreams and ideas.”

[pullquote quote="Instead of kicking kids out of schools for using there iPhones... why not promote it? Allow kids to use search engines to do test " credit="Kanye West"]While some critics may try and paint Kanye as delusional and emotional, somewhere mixed in between his GRAMMY fashion and re-designing our way of thinking, West does have some valid points. Points such as using technology to change education and the way children are taught in the new age. Books are great, but the world is moving digital. As a matter of fact, the world is beyond digital and any day now there could be some new cutting-edge technology that exceeds the iPad and Android devices. Apparently that’s where Kanye comes into the equation. West tweeted, “Help education. School systems were designed to turn people into factory workers.” He continued, “Schools should be designed to prep human beings for real life.”

Real life? You mean like being a hip hop superstar?

Some could interpret his rant as another way for Kanye to seek attention when he’s bored, and others could certainly interpret this as a way to use his celebrity to reach out to the world in order to help others succeed. West states that he wants to employ “architects, graphic designers, directors musicians, producers, AnRs, writers, publicist, social media experts, pp guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers, publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, nutritionist, doctors, scientist, and teachers”.

Whether Kanye is just twitter happy, dreaming, or serious about these ventures, it seems that if it plays out how he envisions it, Ye’ could employ a city of creatives.

According to Dr. Richard Florida, Professor University of Toronto and author of The Rise of the Creative Class, states, “Human creativity is the ultimate economic resource. The ability to come up with new ideas and better ways of doing things is ultimately what raises productivity and thus living standards. The great transition … to the current one is based fundamentally on human intelligence, knowledge and creativity.”

Kanye is quite right when he states creativity will move America out of recession as Steve Jobs and Apple employed 21,360 people. Imagine those corporations sprouting up all over America. Unemployment would be wiped out.I created Fluke – The Wealth Building Game of Accidental Inventions to introduce players to the wild wild world of patent – to create more Steve Jobs.
