Bad news Beliebers…

It seems your boy Justin will NOT be performing live this Wednesday night at the tree lighting ceremony in NYC’s Rockefeller Center. According to event organizers, Bieber’s performance has been pre-taped and will air as a segment during the ceremony.

Sad face…

There were a number of reports last week that Justin would be performing live the same night President Barack Obama is set to be town… which would have been a nightmare, traffic -wise, in the Big Apple on one of the most manic days of the year.

Don’t worry though… there will however be a number of big names performing live, including [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee Lo Green[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Faith Hill[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Michael Buble[/lastfm] and more.

Even without Bieber, event organizers say tens of thousands are expected to crowd the sidewalks between West 48th and West 51st streets and 5th and 6th avenues.
