There are rumors of an impending breakup after the Black Eyed Peas pulled out of last weekend’s Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales. U.K.’s Mirror newspaper cites an unnamed source who says “Pulling out of this weekend’s gig is the final curtain call for them – especially as they’re all such huge Jacko fans. Things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few months but this signals the end”

NME reports the Black Eyed Peas had already announced an “indefinite hiatus” in July, although will.i.am insisted it was just a break, tweeting: “The @Bep will take a break after the beginning…just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d…but it doesn’t mean we stop creating.”
Bandmate Fergie also tweeted, “this isn’t the last time you’ll see us.”
But all that was back in July. The grammy-winning foursome confirmed the Jackson tribute concert appearance just a month ago. Now, if breakup rumors are true, the Black Eyed Peas charity concert appearance in New York City in September could turn out to be their last concert ever.
