Is it Groundhog Day, because I’m feeling a serious sense of Déjà vu. Let’s just hope [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]T.I.[/lastfm] can keep himself out of the slammer for more than a day this time.

Rapper T.I. was released from federal prison on Thursday and allowed to take up residence at an Atlanta halfway house where he will live out the rest of his sentence (until September 29th).

This time T.I. was transported sans tour bus, groupies, VH1 executives, and cameras.

T.I. was sentenced to 11-months in prison after a 2010 drug possession arrest, a direct violation not only of the law, but of his probation from a 2009 gun conviction. Let’s see if he can stay out of trouble for the next two weeks.
