The random and always surprising world of Kanye West & Jay-Z has finally made some moves to clear things up for their fans. The official album release date and tour dates have finally been released by the duo – not to mention an internet leaked 11 minute documentary about their joint venture.

August 9th is the big day for the album’s release online via iTunes and the official CD version will hit stores a few days later on August 12th. The duo has also gone on to officially name their group “The Throne” so make sure to check under “T” in the CD section, fans. The development of this album began back in late 2010 as the duo allowed cameras into their hotel/studio sessions overseas – even inviting actor Russell Crowe as a guest listener.
Even bigger news is the duo also will be hitting the road starting on September 22nd and lasting until November 3rd. The weird thing is the tour makes a two day stop in New Jersey but not Jay’s hometown of New York City…What’s Up With THAT?
