On Wednesday, Sarah Lee embarked on an adventure that not many people would have the courage to do.
Being the chick who’s down for almost any challenge, she traveled to Hunter Mountain for the New York Zipline Adventure Tours and from what you’ll see, she’s got more heart than a lot of tough guys I know!
If you’ve never been zip-lining before, I promise there will be a part of you that wants to at least try it once. It gives the same rush as skydiving, except there’s not as much of a splatter risk!
Zip-lining, in short, consists of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline. It is designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to travel from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, usually made of stainless steel, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley.
All you need to know is that you’re suspended from a cable and fly like an eagle lol.
I went zip-lining myself about a month ago and it was such a fun time that I recommend it to anyone with a little bit of a wild side to them… and people that aren’t afraid to look down!
Here’s Sarah Lee’s experience – and do I smell a challenge to Nick at the end of it?
