Pop sensation [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] is used to getting his way in the music industry. Bieber sings a song and it becomes an instant hit with fans, and everyone knows he’s the go to person for collaborations.
However, Justin’s luck recently ran out when he asked [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Young Money[/lastfm] CEO [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lil Wayne[/lastfm] to appear on one of his songs. Bieber was shocked to say the least!
Poor lil feller….
Justin was forced to cope with Weezy’s decision after numerous calls and texts between the two groups.
Lil Wayne knows that Bieber is a huge fan of his work, but also understands that a potential collabo with him can change his squeaky clean image, which is something that Justin cannot afford to do so early on in his career.
Interesting… Wayne is looking out for the kid!
In an interview with XXL Magazine ,Wayne explains his relationship with the teenager and why he won’t work with him, at least for right now:
“That’s my little homie now,” said, Wayne. “He texts me every night asking me to do [his] damn song. That’s my homie, but I can’t do it. Like I said, I don’t want to mess his stuff up.”
Well, kudos to Lil Wayne for being so considerate to the Biebz. Too bad though, because I think that they can make a hot song together for the radio.
