For the ladies looking to be wined and dined on a first date, New York City is NOT the place to be. You would think it is, with everything the Big Apple has to offer in fine dining and entertainment, but a study says the boys don’t like to part ways with their Benjamins.

Guys in New York City rank eleventh, behind cities like Denver and Seattle, by spending a mere $145 on a first date.

Wait… THAT’S cheap?!?!

Listen up ladies, if you want a guy to waste cash on a first date, take a trip mile high to Denver, where on average a guy will spend $221. And don’t worry ladies, none of these guys except anything in return after shelling out that kind of cash. A simple ‘Thank You’ and a firm hand shake is the appropriate sign of gratitude.

Southern Sarah Lee doesn’t need a big spender to show her a good time. A walk in the park, taking a ride on a paddle boat… that’s all she really needs. That, and a trip to KFC afterwards. Anything close to that southern cookin’ will put a smile on her face.

Mr. Showbiz is quite the opposite. Back in his single days, Nick would take each girl on the same first date… to Disney Land.
