Lindsay Lohan to Play Carrie in Stephen King Remake?
Move over Sissy Spacek there’s a new ‘Carrie’ in town.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, author Stephen King mentioned that there are rumors that his book Carrie is about to undergo another film adaptation, and this time they’re considering Lindsay Lohan for the title role.

King seems a bit torn about this most recent cinematic development, telling EW, “Who knows if it will happen? The real question is why, when the original was so good? I mean, not Casablanca, or anything, but a really good horror-suspense film, much better than the book. Piper Laurie really got her teeth into the bad-mom thing. Although Lindsay Lohan as Carrie White… hmmm. It would certainly be fun to cast. I guess I could get behind it if they turned the project over to one of the Davids: Lynch or Cronenberg.”
David Lynch and Lindsay Lohan, I would totally drop $15 bucks to see that in the theater. Plus, who doesn’t want to see a giant vat of pigs blood poured over LiLo’s head?
According to TMZ, Lindsay was totally psyched when she heard that King had mentioned her in regard to the remake. Who knew LiLo was a fiction fan?
