FYI: Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are really bad at getting divorced.

The two keep showing up smiling, laughing and being one big happy family with their son, Bronx. It’s kind of idyllic except for the fact that Simpson filed for divorce on February 9th.

Celebrity stalkerazzi, X17, recently snapped photos of the family being all sorts of happy and hand holding.

A couple of weeks ago Ashlee and Wentz met up for a fast food binge, but Ashlee’s camp vehemently denied a reconciliation and said she was just feeling bad for Pete and wanted to cheer him up before he left for a tour.

Well it looks like she’s either feeling really bad for him these days, or the two are trying to patch things up.

The divorce papers totally blindsided Wentz, and he’s been trying to talk Ashlee into working things out. It looks like it’s working.
