Usher is obviously slightly less than ready to give his fans “More” these days. The brand new video for his latest hit “More” left me wanting exactly that. This is actually the second version of the video, and features Mr. Raymond performing live during this year’s OMG tour.

Usher’s “latest” single “More” is not really all that new, since it’s been out for well over a year and is just now getting the attention of fans. The hype really began to pick up once [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]DJ Red One[/lastfm] remixed the track and it was re-released back in November of last year. The original version had been released in the beginning of 2010 as part of the 2010 NBA All-Star Game promotion but didn’t chart well, peaking at number 76 on Billboard and lasting only one week.

The official video has the camera squarely on Urrsher-baby performing the song live while on tour… not really a high budget video by any means. There isn’t any storyline or creativity that go along with the concert clips, which is disappointing since many of his videos are heavily choreographed and deep with drama.
The positive: the song is currently at number 15 on the Billboard charts.
The negative: the video is forgettable and deserves a 4 out of 10.
I would like to think that Usher’s hectic touring schedule and recent ailment are the reasons he didn’t have enough time to think of a better video concept.
