Lindsay Lohan‘s implied thievery may be the best thing that’s ever happened to jewelry store Kamofie & Co. Financially that is…
The surveillance video that allegedly shows Lohan’s minion distracting a clerk while Lindsay pockets the necklace has been widely discussed, but not seen. For good reason, that tape was supposed to be reserved for court but the jewelry store in question is getting greedy and looking to sell the video to the media.
[photogallerylink id=104486]In fact, it has already sold the video to the media so I’m sure we’ll be seeing it any minute now. This is all to the chagrin of the prosecutor in charge of the case.
Danette Meyers, the prosecutor in charge of the case, has been pleading with Kamofie & Co. not to sell the video footage until after the trial, because basically it makes the store look like a bunch of greedy a-holes who set up Lindsay Lohan so they could make a quick buck.
But, being a bunch of greedy a-holes, they didn’t listen.
Lindsay may just be living a charmed life, but she’s still facing jail time. Shawn Holley, Lindsay’s lawyer will be meeting with the prosecutor and judge next week to try to work out a minimum jail time plea bargain for Lindsay.
