As the saying goes, “Rules are meant to be broken.” But what if there are no rules? That’s the case in the Smith household, where Willow Smith is allowed to whip her hair, and whatever the hell else she decides to, without having to worry about being put in timeout.
According to Jada Pinkett-Smith, children are people too.
We don’t have rules. We come up with agreements. Kids are little people, and we’re in life to guide them. Trying to rule someone is always an illusion, and it’s no different with children.
