Country superstar (and my boss’ future wife) Taylor Swift has been traveling around the world in support of her mega-successful new album, Speak Now, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have time for dating.

Swift was actually hooked up with her latest flame, Jake Gyllenhaal, by his sister, Maggie!

Maggie thought T-Sweezy was genuine, grounded, and mature for her age and would be perfect for her brother, Jake, so she introduced them at a charity event. Sparks flew and the now the two are a couple. Supposedly, Jake and Taylor plan to spend some quality time together over the holidays and Jake plans to meet Taylor in Paris to celebrate the New Year when she performs there.

Awww, how cute. (Sorry, Boss.)

Taylor is also making some serious television rounds this week. Monday night she’ll be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Wednesday she hits up E!‘s talk show, Chelsea Lately. Her NBC special, Taylor Swift: Speak Now, airs Thanksgiving night at 9PM. Swift is also featured on the December-January issue of Seventeen, as their Style Star of the Year.

The mom of the deceased fan came on Taylor’s tour bus one day to tell her about how he was such a huge fan and accidentally crashed his car when listening to one of her albums.

Taylor said: “I’ve never felt that kind of sadness before. He got into the car accident while he was listening to my music. My songs were playing when the accident happened and he had my CD cover taped to his dash board.” Swift went on to say that she cried a lot when she found out and that, “It’s the saddest thing in the world when you lose a fan.”
