Page Six is reporting that Beyonce sure can hold a grudge…
Last year, when it was rumored that her dad, Matthew Knowles, had knocked up a not-famous-in-the-slightest actress, Alexsandra Wright, [lastfm]Beyonce[/lastfm] made no comment. In fact, she’s still not commenting, not even to her father. When paternity tests proved that baby Nixon was in fact Matthew’s child, Beyonce stopped talking with her father.
Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mama, is divorcing Matthew, and so far the proceedings have been civil.
The kink in the “not talking to her cheating dad” comes in the professional arena, Matthew Knowles is Beyonce’s manager. Her record label, Columbia Records, is a wee bit concerned about her professional growth now that she and her manager are no longer on speaking terms. Say what you might about his monogamy skills, Matthew has done alright by managing Beyonce’s career. The good folks at her label think it’s time to either cut him out, or make up… it’s time to make some records.
