Real Housewives of New York just finished wrapping its third season, and renewed their contract for a fourth. Unfortunately for two folks, they were not included in contract renewals.
Simon van Kempen and Alex McCord, the couple that moved to Brooklyn, and make their kids speak French and speak in indiscernible accents at home are not coming back for the fourth round of the voyeuristic show.
Sources day that the couple never resonated with fans and didn’t react with the other Housewives, so they’re basically just a waste of screen space. Other rumors say that hubby Simon threw a child-sized tantrum when his request to be paid as much as the other housewives was denied. Simon just doesn’t understand that the show isn’t about housewives and their husbands that also don’t have jobs.
The couple may have known this was a possibility, apparently season three includes a lot of fights between Alex and other cast members. Alex may have been trying to create drama to keep her “character” relevant.
I guess it didn’t work.
