The world got to know the newest pop sensation from the U.K. very well this summer, as Jay Sean’s hit single “Down” – featuring Cash Money Records label mate Lil Wayne – had everyone dancing in the clubs. The popularity of the track led it to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, cementing it as a certified banger and making the demand for his upcoming album, All Or Nothing, soar through the roof.

This type of instant success is usually followed by heavy expectations and the always present fear by the artist of becoming a one hit wonder. Jay’s second single, “Do You Remember”, features Jamaican Dancehall heavyweight Sean Paul and the always “crunk” Lil’ Jon (Yea-yuh!!!).

In the song, Jay Sean tries to save his relationship by trying to remind his girlfriend of all the great times they had. Awww… how sweet!

The beat is once again fast paced and the verse from Sean Paul fits in almost as perfectly as that of Weezy’s in “Down”. In my opinion, the song is a perfect follow up and should get plenty of play everywhere.
