 Drake Shows No Fear

A new song from Drake, entitled “Fear”, has recently surfaced and it is set to be on the re-release of his hit mixtape, the So Far Gone EP. The song shows a very serious side of the actor-turned-rapper as Drake attempts to answer his critics and makes some strong declarations about his short but already massive career in hip hop.

The most buzz from the song is stemming from the line “I never cried when Pac died, but I probably will when Hov does”. The comparison of the late 2pac’s significance to Jay-Z, in Drake’s opinion, is his right to voice. But, in that same respect, those words may either benefit the Canadian MC’s image and respect for hip hop history or prove to be a fatal misstep with hip hop fans still feeling love for Pac.

Either way the EP drops on September 15th and only time will tell on how the track is accepted.
